Roy Rubin is the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer for Magento. Roy is focused on ensuring that customers and partners are empowered to growth their businesses using the Magento platform. He directs the organization’s strategy and oversees Magento’s efforts in education, marketing, sales and support.
Matthew Mengerink is the Chief Technology Officer for Magento. Matthew is charged with ensuring that Magento’s products meet the growing demands of our merchants. His responsibilities include leading engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and product management.
John Donahoe became President and CEO of eBay Inc. in 2008. Since taking on the role, John has lead one of the most remarkable turnarounds in tech history. He has driven a strong focus on innovation and customers across eBay Inc.’s core businesses, which include eBay Marketplaces, PayPal, GSI Commerce and X.commerce.
Steven Levitt is a tenured professor in the University of Chicago’s economics department and the recipient of the American Economic Association’s prestigious John Bates Clark Medal. Levitt and Stephen Dubner co-authored Freakonomics and Super Freakonomics, which are among the best-selling and most-discussed economics books ever published.
As an investing partner at Andreessen Horowitz, Jeff Jordan serves on the board of many portfolio companies including Airbnb, Belly, Fab, Lookout and Pinterest. He was previously CEO and executive chairman of OpenTable, where he led the company though tremendous growth, and has held executive positions at eBay and PayPal. Jeff is also on the boards of OpenTable, Wealthfront and Zoosk.
James Barrese is the Chief Technology Officer for PayPal, architecting the world-class payments platform and technology infrastructure that powers PayPal’s innovative payment products and services for its merchant partners and millions of account holders worldwide. James began his career at eBay in 2001, where he helped scale eBay into the world’s largest marketplace.
Jamie Clarke has summited Mount Everest twice, was the first Westerner to cross the Empty Quarter of Arabia, and has climbed the Seven Summits. Jamie is also an inspirational speaker and the founder of LiveOutThere.com, a website dedicated to serving people who are just as passionate about the great outdoors.
John has been building payments and anti-fraud systems on the internet for over 15 years and has advised many of successful (and some less successful) start-ups on their payment strategies. He’s known as one of the most forward-thinking innovators in the world of payments.
Jules Pieri is Founder and CEO of the product launch platform Daily Grommet. She’s been an industrial designer for technology companies, a senior executive for large consumer products companies, and VP/President at two prior startups. She was named a 2012 Tech Luminary by Mass High Tech.
Olga Nazarkova is responsible for the international eCommerce development of Mothercare and Early Learning Centre brands across Mothercare Group franchise network in 60 markets, including Russia, Ireland, Kuwait and Indonesia.
Michael has been with Purina for 25 years, in positions of increasing authority and responsibility, all on the marketing/generating demand side of the business. Roles within the company he has held include Market Research, Brand Management, Customer Development, New Ventures, and creating the Interactive Marketing discipline within Purina.
Chris Fenwick oversees all aspects of eCommerce, including fulfillment, customer service operation and web development project, at Ten Thousand Villages, the world’s oldest and largest fair trade retailer. Under her direction, the eCommerce sales channel has grown more than 50% over three years. Throughout her career, she has implemented more than 150 B2B and B2C web and eCommerce strategies.
Gary Forman joined the Magento team in 2010, initially as a consultant and subsequently as Director of Marketing. Gary leads message development for the Imagine eCommerce Conferences, and is focused on helping merchants unleash their businesses’ potential through the power and flexibility of Magento.
Craig leads the marketing team for Magento, overseeing programs and go to market strategies to enable merchant, developer, and partner success. His team is also responsible for brand, product marketing, customer acquisition & retention, as well as social media efforts. Prior, he has held senior marketing roles in B2C and B2B companies, most recently at Shutterfly, MyBuys, and Yahoo.
Jimmy Duvall joined Magento in 2012 to head the Magento product group. Coming from GSI Commerce, another eBay Inc. company, Jimmy has had a long history with eCommerce and his expertise and knowledge in the industry is reflected in producing innovative and market-leading products for Magento.
Sharon Meers leads Magento Enterprise Strategy. She is responsible for opening up new markets and bringing merchants and businesses to the Magento ecosystem. Prior to joining Magento, Sharon was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and ran business operations for product marketing at Palm through its acquisition by Hewlett-Packard in 2010.
Doug McIver is Director of Product Management at Magento. He joined Magento in 2010 and is currently focused on the Magento Enterprise Editon. Doug has over 10 years of experience creating innovative software for e-commerce and retail companies.
A technologist at heart, Baruch’s passion is to bring innovative eCommerce products for merchants and developers. Since joining Magento in 2010, Baruch has held leadership positions in product management, product marketing and community outreach, where he brings his knowledge and technical expertise to create market-leading products.
In the two years that John has been at the Magento he’s built a world-class design team that oversees Product Visual Design, Marketing Design and Event Design, and drives design and brand strategy for current and emerging products. He started his interactive career at Wired Magazine and Internet-pioneer Hotwired.
Keren Aminia is the General Manager for Imagine 2013. Among several other responsibilities, she is the head of Events for Magento, working with her team to create and execute world class events such as Imagine and Magento Live!. Keren joined Magento in 2008 as CFO and has been Director of Business Operations at Magento following the eBay acquisition.
